Since its forming, new relationships and new excitement about God’s word have characterized their gatherings. The group meets from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Call or text Judy Marshburn for information -- 910.289.8589.

Community Bible Study at Pizza Corner Restaurant, Every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

This group meets “out in the open” and includes people from any church or no church at all. It’s designed to reach across our community and bring people together for fellowship, prayer, and the study of God’s word. Pizza Corner is located at 223 South Norwood Street, and they graciously host our group every week. Get a cup of coffee or a glass of tea while you study and discuss! After our Bible study time (at about 11:45 a.m.), many of the group members stay to have lunch together.

Wednesday Night Adult prayer and Bible study, Room 303

We begin by sharing needs and concerns, and then spending time in prayer. Then we open God’s word, studying passages that give us a head start on the topic for our Sunday morning Life Groups the following Sunday.

Mission Groups - various days and times

We have a number of different mission groups who minister in nursing homes, who work with Operation Christmas Child, and who help meet needs in the community. We are still collecting and distributing furniture, household items, and children’s clothes for those who are still recovering from the widespread flooding our area experienced in Hurricane Florence. In these mission groups you will get to know people with a servant heart as you also make a difference in the lives of others.

If you have any questions about the groups listed below, or would like to ask about a group that’s not listed here (to share a need or to suggest starting a new group), contact Pastor Al at: 910.282.8095 or Alan.FBCW@gmail.comType your paragraph here.

...a place to find supportive friends, spiritual insight, and to share life with others who are on the journey of following Christ each day.
